The Port Authority of Allegheny County rail maintenance center is located at 1000 Village Drive in South Hills Village, Pittsburgh, PA. This facility plays a crucial role in maintaining Port Authority's light rail fleet. Originally built in the 1980’s, its condition was in significant need of rehabilitation. The scope of work included demolition and replacement of work pits and elevated rail supports & crossover platforms.
