Paramount supplied custom luminaires for this successful Chicago Transit Authority (CTA ) public transit project. Paramount has vast experience in luminaire design and a long history of proven reliability. Back when this project was underway, we were selected to build these challenging custom fixtures (some individual units were up to 36-feet long!) for this CTA expansion project.
The CTA operates the nation’s second largest public transportation system, serving a population of 3.5 million. The project designer, Don Leithauser, created many differently styled, very unique custom lighting fixtures to accent a variety of individual atmospheres. To engineer, manufacture, assemble, finish, create and transport these custom luminaires required techniques seldom encountered by a lighting manufacturer.
