Lighting Assembler-1

POSITION SUMMARY

Assemble lighting products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a production line and manufacturing organization.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Read, interpret, and follow bills of materials, Engineering assembly drawings and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products
  • Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld drill gun, screw drivers, wire strippers, soldering irons etc…
  • Maintain inventory of product in workstations
  • Perform product quality and safety work checks to ensure the product meets safety and quality standards
  • Identify product defects and report to the appropriate supervisor for disposition
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

  • Education: High School diploma / GED
  • Experience: Manufacturing, 1+ years
  • Computer Skills: Average
  • Certifications & Licenses: NA
  • Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and speak)
  • Understanding of Cellular manufacturing process a plus
