Position Summary
This role will set up and operate a machine to maintain production tools and equipment for plastic form and trim machinery.
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Vacuum Plastic Forming Machine Operator: Molder, vacuum Tends machine that molds thermoplastic sheets into plastic products.
- Places sheet on top of mold, positions sealing frame around sheet, and fastens frame to rim of mold, using clamps.
- Pushes button to start machine that heats sheet, draws it into mold to form product, and sprays product with cool water or air to harden product.
- Removes product from molds and reloads thermoplastic sheet into machine.
- May also trim excessive molding material from products, using knife, scissors, or bandsaw.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
